A fun, non-traditional approach to health, fitness and sport training.
CrossFit Morris County is for everyone! From the general fitness enthusiast to the elite athlete, law enforcement, military, fire/rescue, anyone and everyone can benefit from the training methods used by CrossFit Morris County. This is not your typical day at your local gym, members will be outdoors and inside using non-traditional, but truly functional equipment. Some examples are: kettlebells, sandbags, bodyweight, kegs, bands, playground equipment and various other implements that will challenge you both physically and mentally to improve your overall health and fitness, prepare you for your sport, and make you a more functional person. CrossFit Morris County is a private personal and group training facility.
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
